  Yes Sinutko was the same overseer to give the, "stay alive till 75 talk"  I talk I can no longer find online...grrrr.  Anyway he sang professionally and I belive there was an article written about him.  I think he is no longer alive .....he finished the circuit work and went to live in CA.

  several months ago we had the visit of our c.o.

  and his thursday night talked included rants covering several topics, with an especially long winded diatribe against "higher education".

  he is pretty good speaker , and his choice of illustrations seemed to win an emotional response from the audience that ive never seen with regard to that subject.. he began the discussion with how concerned the governing body was with the decision some parents have made to send their kids to college.

  I do think depending where you live the anti college rule will fall on deaf ears.  Many of our parents are tired of living as if the end is coming tomorrow ....since it never did. We don't want to live that way anymore.  Our kids will be prepared.

  maybe poorer congregations that could not afford college for their kids will take a righteous stand...since why not? 

  Otherwise I hear and see most kids becoming college bound.

  the lingo seems very very famillar with the bullying that the elders give us all.

  they want their pound of flesh...but call it loving and theocratic.

  I just opened it and it worked fine.  I don't know why there would be a defamation claim since I don't remember any clear faces or names?

  what is the story behind the removal?  Was it removed from  this site? It is still on you tube.

  im no longer an ms.. as many would know from our chats via this forum, i've seen it coming for a while....and while the way it was done stinks, i'm really happy to finally be free!.

  i just heard a fairly reliable rumor that sam herd will be the "guest bethel speaker" at the circuit assemblies at the orangeburg sc assembly hall on january 17-18. .

  orangeburg is about halfway between columbia & charleston, assembly hall is right off i-26.. just in case any of y'all want to be enlightened.

  Interesting.  I wonder on the long term value of the GB making a rule that everyone follows for a week or not at all.   What lasting undermining effects does it have on the individuals that shrugs it off.  To be able to shrug it off in the first place the JW has to toss the info and the GB member who gave it ....even if only slightly.  It chips away at blind faith.
